With a short stay in Paris, the Spring break and a cold in between, it feels like ages since I last posted on the blog. Connecting again with routine is being easier than I thought and I’m almost ready to give my 100% (I’m still a bit congested, though 😷).
Some weeks ago I told you via Instagram about giving a chance to the white shirt. I never felt really comfortable in them – I don’t have a rational explanation for that, I just didn’t like me in a shirt, definitely not my second skin-, but there’s a poplin garments’ wave in stores that’s worth an opportunity as I’m seeing really interesting pieces. I’m ready to embrace tailored and conceptual patterns to give a fresh but classic approach to my office outfits. Are you?
As for now, I count on with a shirtdress and an asymmetrical white shirt for this new style adventure of mine. The warm weather of the first days of Spring inspired a look with the white shirt and my newest shoes which I’m obsessed about (and you too, huh!).
Styling a white shirt
I can think of a bunch of ways of combining this shirt. Either I dismiss the pattern twist that makes it interesting and I wear it under a dress or with a pencil skirt, or I can let the lack of structure be the protagonist. What’s your way?
Did you like it? Love to hear from you!
