Last summer I was absolutely determined to put in practice any of the DIY tutorials that I pinned on my Craft Ideas pinboard. Reality is that I didn’t do anything, so here I am again, having a look at the tutorials to share them with you in the blog and help me decide which one will be the first DIY of the year. I swear I didn’t mean them all to be leather stuff! I’ll take the chance to introduce you to one of my favorite DIY blogs in the whole www – A Pair & A Spare.
1/ Leather file by Love Aesthetics. I’m not sure about its utility but I love leather stuff and even more if its something as unusual as a file. Stationery is always needful for a working girl, right?
2/ No-sew blanket cape by A Pair & A Spare. Let’s face it: Zara’s capes are quite expensive. So grab a piece of fabric and make your own! It looks very easy to do, plus there’s no sewing.
3/ Leather journal by Oh So Pretty. If you’ve been following my Instagram feed for some months, maybe you remember this moment. I’ve already put in practice this tutorial and I’m very happy with the result. Here’s a tip for you: if you can avoid bright white leather, the better.
4/ Leather key ring by A Pair & A Spare. I lost my last DIY key ring so it’s time to replace it and free my key ring from boringness.
5/ Leather pouch by A Pair & A Spare. This is my top super favorite DIY of this short list. On summer I always wear a little bag just to balance for the huge tote bags that I daily carry to the office. Even if it’s only to have something similar to a small leather bag that I once saw at COS and now is out of stock.
I share a lot of tutorials like these featured above on my DIY tutorials pinboard, so make sure you follow me to be updated.
Let the creative type flow on you!
